Canopy Neurodiversity Grant: Applicant Financial Assistance

The How Skills is proud to partner with the Canopy Neurodiversity Foundation in order to significantly reduce financial barriers for qualifying Washington State residents who are seeking executive function and employment coaching.

Canopy’s Career Coaching Support Program (CCSP) provides funding so neurodivergent adults can work with our expert coaches to build essential executive function skills.

These grant funds can pay for a portion of coaching for qualifying clients.

Who This Helps:

Qualifying CCSP grant recipients need to:

  • Reside in Washington State

  • 18+ years of age

  • Identify as neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, or a closely related neurotype)

  • Are seeking coaching that supports work or career goals, such as job search, workplace communication, time management, or maintaining employment

  • Have a level of financial need that makes paying the full fee for coaching a challenge

How To Receive the Grant:

  1. Fill out our eligibility form.

    • This form will confirm that you:

      • Live in Washington State

      • Are 18 or older

      • Are autistic, ADHD, or similarly neurodivergent

      • Need coaching that is clearly connected to work or career goals

  2. Schedule a free and confidential consultation.

    • You will meet with one of our expert coaches who will review your eligibility form and pair you with the right coach for you

  3. Review of forms. We will review your information and let you know:

    • Whether you are eligible for grant funding

    • What the grant can cover

    • What your out-of-pocket cost, if any, would be

Determining Grant Amount:

To make the process as seamless as possible, we use the green bottle pricing method in your consultation. To help us determine grant amount":

  • Please review a short description of different price “bottles” that represent three key levels of financial situations

  • Choose the bottle that feels most honest for your current situation and is indicated in your eligibility form

  • We combine the information from your eligibility form and consultation to assess your financial situation. This helps us determine how much grant funding can cover your coaching costs and whether any out-of-pocket contribution is needed

Grant funding is limited and cannot be guaranteed, even if you meet the criteria. Prior to beginning the coaching process, we will transparently share all of the financial information necessary to proceed.
